I am at ease and deeply relaxed as I mindfully scan my body, becoming aware of any sensations or emotions.

Today I took the time to appreciate my body and all of its quirks and features. At first, it was a hard task since society has taught us to view bodies through a critical eye – comparing them, judging them, and even hating on our own figures. But I decided that today would be different; it would honor my shape rather than criticize or shame it.

I started this process by taking stock of each individual component of my physical self which included everything from facial features to hair type to fingerprint patterns. Noticing the little things, in particular, made me realize how precious and unique they were – something only I will ever have! This made me feel so special; just like no one else in the entire world has an identical physique to mine!

I also allowed myself to tap into every sensation happening within my body; some comforting, some uncomfortable yet all essential for living life fully – from simple intuitions such as warmth or coldness in various parts of me to more complex feelings such as joy or sadness experienced physically too. It brought about greater awareness of what’s going on inside making me less prone to judgmental thoughts towards others if their physical characteristics differ from mine.

Finally, my appreciation for my amazing figure got stronger when I realized how.
