Being present in the moment can be a challenge, but it’s an important part of finding peace and contentment. Practicing mindful awareness allows one to stay rooted in the present moment while savoring each unique experience that arises. By cultivating this practice, individuals will develop greater clarity in their perception as well as appreciation for the beauty within each singular experience.
Mindful awareness calls upon us to become aware of our thoughts, emotions, sensations and surroundings without judgment or resistance – allowing us simply to observe life unfolding. It is about not getting lost in your mind and instead experiencing life through all five senses: feeling what you feel; hearing what you hear; seeing what you see; tasting what you taste; smelling what you smell. As we give ourselves permission to become more connected with our experiences both internally and externally, we begin to live more fully from a place of acceptance rather than avoidance or neediness.
Through the practice of mindfulness we learn how to embrace uncertainty gracefully by responding with gentleness if things don’t go according plan or bring desired outcomes. We learn how bestow gratitude towards all aspects of life – good and bad – understanding that all these moments are equally valuable pieces that make up who we are today as well as inform where we will go tomorrow in life’s journey. We recognize that any pain or struggles endured along this path have brought great value even though their effects may not have been completely understood until later down the line when wisdom enlightens us on what has been created thus far during our existence here on earth.
By grounding oneself firmly into mindful awareness while savoring each bite offered at hand, one begins being able accept whatever bundle of circumstances arise knowing they do so only out love for oneself–supporting growth toward unconditional joy filled with warmth inside despite storms rising outside every once awhile dismantling mental structures built out falsehoods believed true for much too long previously lived before humbly accepting presence ever ready awaiting forthrightly joyfully embracing coming home!
