I have always had an open mind when it comes to food. I don’t believe that there’s just one “right” way of eating and I’m at peace with whatever choices I make in regards to nourishing my body. Whether that means having a salad for lunch or indulging in some fried food, both will definitely be enjoyed.
I believe that nutrition is only part of the equation when it comes to leading a healthy lifestyle. While what we eat plays an important role, other practices such as exercise and stress management are equally important factors as well. By taking all aspects into account, I can feel good about the decisions I make and how they affect my overall health.
Healthy eating isn’t all about denying myself things; instead, it’s about choosing which foods work best for me and my individual needs while still enjoying them happily! This mindset has helped me stay away from restrictive diets because those aren’t sustainable long-term solutions — joyous flexibility is key!
I am aware of new trends in nutrition but also recognize that no single diet works for everyone’s unique goals or nutritional needs – so being flexible helps me discover what works best for MY wellness journey rather than copying someone else’s path blindly. It brings an authentic sense of freedom around food where you can choose not just any kind of meal but whichever kind tastes delicious AND feels right within your own body based on its current state.
For each person this process looks different; ultimately finding balance between convenience/intuition/evidence-based approaches serves as the goal here!!! Finally understanding that everything doesn’t need to be nothing less than perfect takes pressure off having a complex relationship with meals & ingredients leaving more room for exploration 🙂
