I choose to recognize when I become overwhelmed with stress and anxiety, and take active steps to reduce my tension. Using mindfulness techniques, such as deep breathing and progressive muscle relaxation, can help me easily relax.
Focusing on the present moment allows me to be in tune with my feelings so I am able to make conscious decisions about how best to navigate stressful situations that may arise. Doing this keeps me from becoming overwhelmed by external stressors or internal worries.
Time management is a key factor in keeping my peace of mind intact. By organizing my day ahead of time, I am better able to manage tasks effectively without feeling rushed or unbalanced throughout the day. This also allows for breaks in which I can pause and refocus on what matters most—my wellbeing!
I strive for balance in all aspects of life: physical health; mental health; social relationships; career; hobbies – each has its own purpose that contributes towards finding inner harmony with myself. Taking meaningful actions each day helps ground me back into a state of awareness where I can reach clarity within chaos if needed.
